A. Camila Popin Attorney

A. Camila Popin

America Camila Popin, a native Spanish language speaker, has been a successful matrimonial and family court litigator for 20 years and joined the firm of Donald Mastrodomenico. She thrives on challenges. She handles most of the firm’s complex cases. She understands how emotionally and financially difficult divorces can be. As such, her goal is to ensure the most favorable outcome for her clients with the least amount of emotional turmoil and financial cost. She is highly motivated to ensure that at the end of every case her clients obtain what is rightfully theirs. She has earned a reputation as a strong litigator in the matrimonial courts while at the same time using her negotiating skills to achieve amicable resolutions for her clients.

Furthermore, based on her frequent involvement with parties that own properties all over the world, she has established a vast network of legal and tax professionals, as well as real estate and business appraisers. This kind of network becomes essential in our diligent efforts to obtain what rightfully belongs to our client.

She is a graduate of John Jay High School and St. Francis College (NY) where she graduated cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and membership into their prestigious Don Scotus Honor Society. Ms. Popin obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in June 2000. After graduation, she became drawn to Matrimonial Law where her advocacy interest was developed. As such, she joined our firm focusing exclusively in thepractice of divorce and family law in early 2002. After a few years at the Law Office of Donald Mastrodomenico, she ventured on her own. Now she is back with our firm with an additional 14 years of experience under her belt. The firm is delighted to have her back dealing with complex matrimonial issues including high net worth clients and custody litigation issues.

She is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. She has a perfect record with the Bar Association regarding complaints. She is the President of the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County and a member of the Family Law Sections and Family Law Committee of the Queens County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
