Angel Hristov Attorney

Angel Hristov

Mr. Hristov believes that his primary purpose as an attorney is to serve the needs of his clients in a courteous and professional manner. He comes from a family of hard-working, blue-collar immigrants who have taught him that honesty, hard work and dedication are the key ways to achieve one's goals. Mr. Hristov has reciprocated these values in his academic and professional experience which has been commended by clients and colleagues alike.

As an associate of the Law Offices of Donald Mastrodomenico, P.C. he is in charge of the uncontested divorces and also handles contested divorces in the law firm. In fact, Mr. Hristov handles more than 200 divorces a year and works zealously for his clients, often times until 10 p.m. He is always responsive to the clients' concerns and goes the extra mile to bring a successful resolution to their cases.

Further, Mr. Hristov assists Mr. Mastrodomenico with another core practice area the law firm handles: child support. Mr. Hristov has absorbed Mr. Mastrodomenico's vast experience and knowledge of child support cases and is always prepared to provide the correct type of legal advice to clients. Mr. Hristov does the initial child support interviews with clients and carefully reviews each case to structure the best strategy for every client's case. Often times he meets with clients who have consulted with other more expensive and high profile matrimonial and family law attorneys only to discover that these other attorneys have missed key points about child support aspects of the client's cases.

Mr. Mastrodomenico's emphasis on child support ranges on fanaticism and every little detail is considered in order to raise or reduce the amount of child support paid or received by our clients. The office's strategy sessions on child support are more like seminars than consultations and contribute immensely to the successful resolution of the clients' child support cases.

Mr.Mastrodomenico's former clients either refer their friends and family members for their child support cases or themselves return when they need Mr. Mastrodomenico again. Actually, in one situation in Mr. Mastrodomenico's had represented the custodial parent, mother, two times in a child support case whereby he prevented the father both times in receiving a downward modification of his child support obligation even when his income had legitimately decreased. Sometime later the father grew a mustache and a beard and wore sunglasses and came into the office and tried to get Mr. Mastrodomenico to give him a consultation so that Mr. Mastrodomenico would not be able to represent the mother again on the father's next attempt to reduce the child support. Luckily, Mr. Mastrodomenico recognized him before it was too late and asked him politely to leave the office. Mr. Hristov has repeatedly shown in child support cases the same zeal that Mr. Mastrodomenico has been showing for the past over 36 years.

Mr. Hristov attends all relevant New York State Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, Kings County Bar Association matrimonial and family law CLE seminars to keep up with all the new developments in matrimonial and family law so he is able to serve his clients to the fullest. In addition, Mr. Hristov and his colleagues from the office review all the new matrimonial and family law updates in detail as part of this office's commitment to excellence and achieving the maximum results for the clients. Mr. Hristov is a member of the Family Law sections of the New York State Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, Kings County Bar Association and the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hristov lived with his family in Chicago where he graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago having been a Political Science/ International Studies double major and a minor in Spanish. Mr. Hristov speaks fluent Bulgarian and Spanish. He currently lives with his wife Svetla in Rego Park, Queens.
