Attorney Fenisha Williams
My primary goal is to advance and protect the interests of our clients and including their most precious gifts their children.
As a single mom, I appreciate the complexity in raising a child in which has fostered my interest in family law. My legal career has been focused in the area of family law and I do over 150 court appearances each year on divorce and family law cases. I use real life experience and the law to achieve the each client's goals.
The Law Offices of Donald Mastrodomenico, P.C. is an intimate office that focuses on each individual client's needs. Our office meets with clients before each court appearance to further discuss and strategize their case. No other law firm, I know has such in depth communications with their clients and does not charge hourly fees! An overwhelming majority of the clients are referrals because of our firm commitment to excellence which is achieved by dedication and the fact that our practice limited to only matrimonial and family law.
I am a graduate of Touro Law School and I am a member of the Queens, Kings and New York State Bars Associations Family Law Sections. I am also a member of the Queens County Latino Bar Association, the Queens County Women's Bar Association and the Black Lawyers Organization. I have received training in the "Fundamentals of Family Court/Family Law Advocacy" provided by the State of New York Appellate Division Second Department. I have a thorough understanding of the family law advocacy and loads of hands on experience to go with it.
Before working at the Law Offices of Donald Mastrodomenico, P.C., I worked for legal services where we represented only indigent women on various family law matters. Then transitioned to a private firm specializing in divorce and family court where much of my time was spent in the area of recording of billable hours. I became a lawyer to do right in this world by advocating strongly for people and not just for my financial gain. This creed is consistent with the philosophy of this office.
Mr. Mastrodomenico met me in court and observed me handling two complicated divorce matters and offered me my current Associate Attorney position. Before I accepted I researched the firm and was happy to find out that the firm amazingly did not bill with hourly rates which frees up the attorneys in the firm's time to concentrate on legal strategies for the cases at hand. The entire staff is often in the office until 10 at night discussing the firms' cases new legal strategies learned at Bar Associations seminars and the firm's weekly matrimonial and family law periodical citator.
